Research interests
I am an Advanced Research Engineer (Concept Design) at the National Composites Centre. Previously, I was a Research Associate in in Morphing Structures in the EU Horizon 2020 SABRE project. My research interests are:
- Design, analysis, manufacture and test of compliance-based camber morphing aerostructures
- Design and manufacture of composite structures
- Fluid-structure interaction for aerostructures
- Finite Element Modelling of composite structures (static and dynamic load cases).
I completed my PhD in Advanced Composites at the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Advanced Composites for Innovation and Science (ACCIS CDT). My thesis titled "Structural and aerodynamic performance of a three-dimensional compliance-based composite camber morphing wing" was primarily supervised by Dr Ben Woods, in collaboration with Prof. Paul Weaver and Prof. Jonathan Cooper.
I received a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech (Blacksburg, VA, USA) in May 2015.
I am from Caracas, Venezuela.
